Marybeth McCullum has been studying the Bible and serving in a variety of ministries throughout her adult life. She is an avid student of Scripture and loves sharing what she is learning with others. Whether she is writing a blog post, preparing for a small group Bible study, or speaking to a large group in a church setting, she strives to encourage, challenge and inspire others in their walks with Jesus. She is passionate about helping people of all ages to discover the Bible’s relevance in daily life. Marybeth and her husband of 30 years met on the front deck of a houseboat while serving at a Christian camp in college and still love time together on the water. They have two sons whose wit and wisdom continually delights and challenges her. Marybeth has published two Bible studies: Extraordinary Prayer: Using God’s Word to Expand Your Prayer Life (2020) and Women of the Word: The Family Tree of Jesus (2016). Readers have also been inspired by her short story “The Final Days” in the book When God Makes Lemonade (Thomas Nelson, 2013). Marybeth holds a B.A. in English and a Master’s Degree in Education, both from UCLA. You can find her page on Facebook at: Marybeth Mc Cullum- Author.
