Marybeth McCullum has been studying the Bible and serving in a variety of ministries throughout her adult life. She is an avid student of Scripture and loves sharing what she is learning with others. Whether she is writing a blog post, preparing for a small group Bible study, or speaking to a large group in a church setting, she strives to encourage, challenge and inspire others in their walks with Jesus. She is passionate about helping people of all ages to discover the Bible’s relevance in daily life. Marybeth and and her husband of 29 years met on the front deck of a houseboat while serving at a Christian camp in college. They have two sons who often provide source material for her blog posts (with their permission, of course). Marybeth published a 9-session Bible study called Extraordinary Prayer in 2020. Many readers have also been inspired by her Bible study Women of the Word: The Family Tree of Jesus (2016) and her short story “The Final Days” in the book When God Makes Lemonade (Thomas Nelson, 2013)Marybeth holds a B.A. in English and a Master’s Degree in Education, both from UCLA.
